Planning knowledge lived inside formulas and a few people's heads.

The operating model connected demand, available capacity, production assumptions, and forecast scenarios. It was valuable, but fragile. Changing an input could affect results in ways that were difficult to explain, and unresolved assumptions looked too much like facts.

The build

Convert the model into a portable scenario surface.

A frozen workbook snapshot became a self-contained browser tool. Operators could change approved assumptions without touching formulas, compare scenarios, and see where missing data or incompatible assignments made an answer unreliable.

The proof

Test the interface against the model, not just the designer's intuition.

The build pipeline compared workbook outputs, an independent calculation engine, and the browser logic. Render and interaction checks confirmed that the interface reproduced the defined model while keeping open assumptions visible.
